Box Bucker Pickup 6 String
These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck.
Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics.
